All students have pre-existing (Prior) knowledge of math concepts. The Active Learner Approach is designed to grow their prior knowledge as students assimilate their new learnings.

#3 Retain newly acquired knowledge through different forms of assessments to identify gaps and misunderstandings.

The Adaptive solver is a 5 step apprach​ Adaptive Solver Approach is a tool to aid students solve math problems using a 5 step approach termed : S.U.R.F.S

Scan

Identify the core topic(s) of the problem.

Understand

Understand the keywords that is situated in the context of the sum.

Represent

Decide on the representation use, e.g Model drawing, ratio, units etc/.

Find

From your representation, find parts of the sum by showing your working and steps.

Solve

Read the question posed by the problem and solve the sum.
